The Hook Lighthouse

It's easy to see why the Hook Lighthouse is one of the most visited hotspots in Wexford.

Located on Hook Head, it is one of the oldest lighthouses in the World. Constructed in 1172, it spans 35 meters high and can be seen from 43 km away.

There are daily tours of the lighthouse as well as a coffee shop / restaurant serving local cuisine, a large children's plan area and incredible seascape all around.

Tip: Visit at different times of the day and in different weather conditions. You will capture some of the most sensational sunsets from Hook Head and will be bowled over by the snow like sea foam during a windy day.

It is a must visit if you are in Wexford.
